“What is man that You magnify him, and that You are concerned about him, that You examine him every morning . . . and try him every moment? (Job 7:17-18)
Yes, it is still Mid-Term Week at school and the students are saying things like, "Still more tests?" Well, duh . . . it is Mid-Term Week! The fact is, as a believer, we are tested daily so God can examine us to see that we are ready for the challenges ahead! School is simply a microcosm of life in Christ!
God has a magnifying glass upon each of us, as Job wrote, keeping a close eye upon us. He is so concerned for us that He checks in on us often. . . . always in fact. After all, if His eye is on the sparrow (Matthew 6:25-27). . . well, you know! In fact, He tries us, or tests us, every moment! He desires for us to come out of this life pure as refined gold to receive all He has in store for us in eternity.Thank God for more tests to come.
