Love . . . Love . . . Love . . . always LOVE!

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13:1-8)

How is love defined? Ask folks in this world and we will receive a myriad of answers . . . what is your definition of love?

My definition comes from the bible: (1 John 4:8)He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. ("Dios es amor.")

Could you imagine if every time we said "I love you" it came with the meaning of God's love? Patience, humility, kindness, respect, unselfish, sacrificial, truthful, hopeful and enduring . . . what a world in which to live as opposed to selfishness, disrespect, anger, hostility, pride, deceit, and woe is me attitudes.

Love wins. It will always win. God wins! try love today.🤟

God is right here!

God is right here! Just read the following verses:

The servant of the man of God got up early and went out, and behold, there was an army with horses and chariots encircling the city. Elisha’s servant said to him, “Oh no, my master! What are we to do?” Elisha answered, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, please, open his eyes that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servants eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha. (2 Kings 6:15-17)

You see, just as the Lord had to open the eyes of Elisha's servants, so must we open our spiritual eyes and see the army of angels all around us! Despite the dangers and pitfalls of this world, God is right here with His children. We may not see Him, but He is right here!

We have to trust that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). He is our Jehovah Nissi (Exodus 17:15). He is our strong tower (Proverbs 18:10). He will grant us success according to His will (Philippians 4:19).

Trust God at His Word. As with Elisha, He is still right here!

A loving Dad . . .

A loving dad....missing in so many homes today. Sure, moms are doing a wonderful job, do not get me wrong. However, that is not God's plan! Fathers are needed, wanted, and desired. Dads are vital to a child's growth and maturity. God made no mistake when He created Adam first and held him accountable for Eve. We men have been created to protect, provide, and teach. A home without a husband and father is lacking . . . simply said!

Yet despite it all, we still have a loving and caring Father who cares, nurtures, teaches and provides in God! Thank You Father for being there when we all have needed You! As we celebrate this Advent, let's remember this Name: Immanuel ( God with us).

We are never alone. We do not have to fear. He will guide us. He is here to help. We are secure and we are victorious because He fights for us. He even listens when we need an ear. He is consistent and He cares!

So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” (Matthew 1:22-23)

Get to know Daddy.

Truly God...truly man
