Assurance every day . . . You are with me!

I have this assurance every day . . . No matter what is going on or who is doing what . . . God is with me and ain't nothing anyone else can do about it!

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.  And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. (John 10:27-28)

When I feel alone, unheard, unnecessary, invisible in this world, I can take solace in knowing You are with me Lord! That is so comforting. When friends, family, co-workers and everyone I whom I know and sometimes count upon are not available, You are! When rejected and left to feel useless, You are the One to tell me how valuable I am to You. In a crazy, loud, ignorant, and selfish world, You are the voice I seek. Your presence is what I need.

No one can take You from me. Help me to remember that today Lord!

Hoping is believing!

What are you hoping for this CHRISTmas? Remember when we hoped for the new bike🚲 or new action figure....well, for the girls maybe a new Barbie🙎? Nowadays it is a new i-phone📱 or even a new car🚘! You know, the one in the driveway on CHRISTmas morning with the giant red bow🎀 on the hood?  Nevertheless, it what we may receive or want to receive. However, through Christ, hoping is believing! We, as followers of the Risen Savior, know that we have eternal life through Christ Jesus and we look forward to . . . or HOPE in that day!

Many are without hope today. They are hoping for that special something to occur and life depends upon that hope. Yet this world offers so many false hopes . . . in relationships, jobs, even a cure for illnesses. Trusting in Christ brings assurance. No matter what comes our way, we trust that God has it all under control and one day . . . one day it will all be just perfect!

You have multiplied the nation and increased its joy;
They rejoice before You, according to the joy of harvest,
as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
For You have broken the yoke of his burden and the staff of his shoulder . . . The rod of his oppressor . . . (Isaiah 9:2-4)

Knowing Jesus has us today and will have us tomorrow breaks the bonds of false hopes. It gives us a different mind set. It allows us to keep moving forward despite the ups, downs, broken dreams and disappointments in life. Today may be a challenge, but tomorrow will be fantastic!

Keep hope alive!

You can be SURE!

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-39 AMP)

You know you can be SURE of your relation ship with Jesus Christ . . . right?  Oh yes . . . the one who places genuine trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior . . . honestly and whole-heartedly confesses their sinful nature and repents from a sinful lifestyle . . .  truly acknowledges their dependence upon Him alone for their eternal salvation . . . yes we can be sure

The bible leaves no doubt that a person is saved by faith in Jesus Christ . . . the eternal and perfect sacrifice for mankind's sinful nature. It is by His grace we are saved . . . His unmerited favor for each of us who will accept it . . . and nothing we can do about it but embrace it! However, we must admit our sin, believe Jesus at His word, and  confess our sin. It is a heart issue: Jesus' heart for us and our heart for Him!

Do not allow Satan and his tricks cause you to doubt. I know, it is difficult to trust nowadays. However, we can trust Jesus! He cannot lie and has always come through. It is written throughout HIStory!

Here's the best part . . . it gets better! In fact, it gets perfect one day! Just trust Him . . . you can be sure!

Truly God...truly man
