"In the Beginning", the daily REMINDER from The Carroll Family Outreach (formerly The Sparrows' Nest or TSN), is intended to jump start your day with the Lord. The Bible opens up with , "In the beginning, God..." It is our prayer that you will use this tool to begin or "restart" your day with the Lord! Only what we do for Him will last in the end!

“We have found the Messiah”. And he brought him to Jesus.
Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples. And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, “Behold the Lamb of God!” The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, “What do you seek?” They said to Him, “Rabbi” (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), “where are You staying?” He said to them, “Come and see.” They came and saw where He was staying, and remained with Him that day (now it was about the tenth hour). One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus. (John 1: 35-42)
John the Baptist introduced his followers to Jesus (see John 1: 36 above). Andrew brought his brother Simon (Peter) to Jesus and introduced him to the Messiah. Peter, as we read in Acts 2, went on to introduce thousands to Jesus.
So what have you and I done with Jesus? If the Messiah has indeed called us, and we have indeed found Him, then what are we doing with Him?
