#GivingTuesday

So all over social media it is #GivingTuesday. However, as we read from Paul, every day for the Christ follower is a day to give . . . give back and give up and even give away!

I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” (Acts 20:35)

Now that Thanksgiving is over, we do not stop giving! Remember to give back to the who have helped along the way. Tokens of thank you are great for sure, but simply a "thank you" goes a long way too! Also, in a day and age when so many are going without, may I suggest giving up some things and then giving away to others in need?

Seek out ways to lend a hand around the house, in the neighborhood and at work. Perhaps we might give up some time to volunteer. We may give up a night out or a special meal to donate to a local shelter or food bank. Consider giving away some money to support local ministries or even a mission team in need of funds.(https://gofund.me/72033ec1)

There is always a need somewhere . . . a person or a place to give back, give up, or give away!
