Our CHRISTian walk is not simply doing "CHRISTian stuff"! It is not in church attendance or joining a committee. It is not about choirs or staff positions. The CHRISTian life is about the why".
Why are we doing things? What if we had no choir, no videos, no committes or even no bible?
I was reminded last night at bible study that the followers of Christ had none of these but the loved Jesus so much. They faithfully gathered, prayed, and shared His love without all the accessories.
In a confused world, we need to be intentional in our love for Christ and people... not in our activities but in our hearts.
Love God...Love people...a life of love. Listen to Paul...
This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart;
(Ephesians 4:17-18)
