Learn from HIStory......Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you:‘Behold, you despisers, marvel and perish! For I work a work in your days, a work which you will by no means believe, though one were to declare it to you.’ ”(Acts 13:38-41)
If we do not learn from HIStory, we will continue to fail. Paul is sharing here the Good News from Abraham to Messiah. He warns folks to watch out! If they ignore Christ, the same will happen to them as to those in the past. (Acts 13:40) It is a message for us as well!
We as a Body have come to rely more upon jobs, stock markets, retirement accounts, doctors and governments than the Lord. We have forgotten the Source of our resources! If we are not careful, we may just miss Messiah!!!!
911....snipers....swine flu....now Covid-19....What is our response this time? Will we again simply go back to normal? Will we turn to Him and stay there with Him? Have we really put our trust in Him? Will we learn from HIStory?
