So, as the song once asked, Mr. Big Stuff . . . Who do you (we) think you are? After all, it is God Who made us and formed and and gave us life!
Well, the song may not be recalled by our younger readers, but it addresses the issue nevertheless.
Who do we think we are, anyway? In all my years of seving on disaster rebuilding mission teams, I have learned this one thing from the people whom we have served: God is STILL God and deserving of our praise!
The spirit of praise has been lost. We do not simply praise Him when we are in church or when we feel like it. We praise Him because He is God! Good times, bad times, ok times, stormy times, happy times, sick times, all the time . . .GOD is not just good, but God IS God!
Despite circumstances Lord, THIS DAY, I choose to praise You!
