Now the Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons.” (1 Samuel 16:1)God's timing and His will are always perfect. As I had done my best to care for my wife and family at the home going of her mom, God still tells us that we must move on. Mom would have us to move on too . . . serving God and serving others as He has called us. But it is still hard!
God has a perfect plan for each of His children. We do not always understand it, but we must trust God that He has it right. The out turmoil and trials, God is weaving His plan in and through us. We have no real choice but to place our trust in Him!
Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. (1 Peter 4:12-13)
