Character Attacks

But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the Word of God deceitfully, but manifestation of the Truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. (2 Corinthians 4:2)

Paul often has to write to defend himself to those who doubt his calling, but he never has to defend God! There are times in our lives when people may remind of of who we used to be. They may point out our sin in light of our faith in Christ. They may pull some Scripture out of context in order to attempt to condemn us. However, we must remain true to the Word and the what He has us to do. We know all about sin and its traps. We know how powerful it can be . . . how cunning . . .how deceitful. We also realize we still sin!

So we must remain faithful in all of our dealings . . . for Christ's sake and for the opportunity to lead even those who torment us to our Savior. It's what God knows about us that matters. Stay strong . . . Stay faithful . . . Stay under the power of His Spirit!

That is very true because somethings people think they do not sin because they are "saved"
