Get Out of the Way!

Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. He must increase, but I must decrease. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. (John 3:29-31)

Many times in life we get in our own way. We just get too complicated and think too much about things. Sometimes . . . many times, simple is best. As John the Baptist stated above, God must increase and we must decrease. We are not that important!

We definitely need to get out of Jesus' way! We can all think of times when we have tried to figure things out for God and then we let Him know our plans. Can you list a few?

God knows what He is doing. He is the focus. He is the Source. He is God! If we could only get out of the way!
