Choose Christ!

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:“For your sake we face death all day long;we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:31-39)
There is a confidence when it comes to the physical death of a believer. We are assured that nothing can seperate us from God once we have trusted in His Word. For the believer, death is a victory . . . it is a promised accomplishment for a life lived in honor of our Savior. For the believer, death is the beginning of a life dreamed of and longed for . . .
But for those who choose not to believe . . .
There is another promise. For those who do not believ, there is a promise as well, but not as pleasant! There is a second death for the non-believer and it involves total seperation from God for eternity and constant torture and pain. it is quite the opposite of eternity in heaven with God and all those whose chose to believe. Please do not wait until tomorrow to choose! it will be too late. Do not allow another funeral to occur . . . it may be yours! Choose life today! Choose Christ!
Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:12-15
