Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5;16-18)Challenging to rejoice when things are not joyous. Hard to pray when the heart is breaking. Hard to give thanks when feeling unappreciated. Yet it is God's will not mine. I live for Him! This is more of a prayer request than a devotional, but use it as you see fit.
