Real Talk . . . You Decide!

The LORD said to Moses, Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘I am the LORD your God. You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices. You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. . . . Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable. . . . Everyone who does any of these detestable things . . .such persons must be cut off from their people.

(Leviticus 18:1-29)

From the Old testament to the new, God simply says that some things are sin and not to be tolerated by the Christian. Real talk!!!! Though every sin is indeed forgiven by the blood of Christ, to be forgiven one must sgree with God that it is indeed sin! We cannot choice what sin is based upon our cultural world view at the time. God has set His limits as to what He will tolerate.

Here is what the apostle Paul says:

Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.(

1 Corinthians 6: 9-20)

So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

(2 Corinthians 5:16-17)

So if we are truly saved we must agree with our Lord and Master. God has made His decision . . . now you decide!
