See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.(Colossians 2:8)
In such times as we live today, the followers of Christ must not back down to the ideas of tolerance, justifying anything and everything just because people want to do it. Decepetive philosophies are rapant!
Folks are trying to twist the Word of God to fit any and all circumstances. Others are saying God does not matter any more. Some are even saying that God will save everyone one day anyway . . . after all He does love us! Not so . . .
. . .that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.(Philippians 2:10-11)
There are a lot a foolish people today. Many more are simply lost. But one day . . .
Our mission is to spread the truth, not to tolerate lies. God forbid it will be on me that I did not share God's TRUTHS with someone and they end up in hell! As we learn, we need to share. Never stop studying God's Word and always be ready to answer the lies. We can not be ashamed, but boldly declare the TRUTH in love.
