The Lord is righteous in all his ways and loving toward all he has made. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.(Psalm 145:17-19)
What a praise psalm from David. In this psalm, David extols the characterisitcs of the Lord. It is a healthy remider to us even today, as we go through trials and tribulationsof health, economic struggles, and challenging relationships.
God is still in control. He is still holy. He still hears the cries of the humble heart. He is still patient with us all!
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)
He is patient, but not forever . . . His will is for all to come to repentance and know Him, but He will not wait forever.
God has a timetable. No one knows when, but he will come soon to claim what is His and make things right again! Are YOU ready?
