Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, hat he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come . . . it will not tarry. “Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith. (Habakkuk 2:2-4)
What is your vision? What do you see yourself doing in life . . . next week, next year, in five years, in ten years? Is it what God has planned for you? Have you really sought is opinion?
We all have to watch that we do not get caught up in what we want for ourselves or what others want for us. Many have good intentions. The world offers some very enticing career choices. But at what price?
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? (Mark 8:36)
