when God and world collide

 What do you do when God and world collide? We live in a sick world. Right is now wrong and wrong is often right. Many times, as a believer, we find ourselves clashing in values. So what are we to do? We must take a stand for God in and anti-God culture!

In the book When Worlds Collide (Mike and Daniel Blackaby), believers are listed as Cave-Ins, Cave dwellers, or Colliders. We must be Colliders! We certainly cannot cave-in to the world's ways. We cannot hide from them either. We must take a stand to have any impact upon others.

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.(Colossians 2:6-8)
