Everybody has a Kingdom purpose!

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. .  . Do  you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

(I Corinthians 3:5-8,16)

Everybody has a Kingdom purpose. We all have a job description to fulfill.

How many of us know our roles?

Every disciple of Christ is to walk as He walked. He imitated the Father and now we are to imitate Him. . . doing the Father's will.

So how do we do that?

We must seek an intimate, growing, and coachable relationship with the Lord. It requires private study time, real fellowship, and a response to teaching and correction.

While no one is greater than the other, some are held to a higher accountability. Our God-appointed leaders are accountable to God and us. We are accountable to God and them. We too have those under our God-ordained authority as teachers, coaches, supervisors, parents and the like, yet we are still their servants.

Jesus has ALL authority yet He humbly served in His role as teacher, priest and eventual sacrifice.

As disciples of Christ, we are called to be living sacrifices. . . our reasonable service.

To do that we must know our role and carry it out. The Kingdom here on earth can only function properly if we carry out our Kingdom purpose!

We all are held accountable for all we do . . .

Even a child is known by his deeds, whether what he does is pure and right. The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord has made them both....
