What are you saying God?

God has written my story and your story . . . we must now live it out! He directs it through His Word. If we do not stay in touch with Him, then we are out of touch with ourselves!

As we read His Word, He reveals to us His desires and plans for us. He encourages us and He corrects us. He leads us in the right direction. He knows what we need to hear and when we need to hear it. He will speak to us in ways in which we need to hear it.

His Holy Spirit can get through to us as a nagging thought that just won't go away, a feeling deep within our gut or even someone else's words or a song on the radio. Simply be open to all the various ways God may indeed speak to us throughout the day!

Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” (1 Kings 19:11-13)

What are you saying God?

We all are held accountable for all we do . . .

Even a child is known by his deeds, whether what he does is pure and right. The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord has made them both....
