I must learn to surrender

 Since when is surrendering a victory? We are constantly told to never give up . . . keep pushing . . . don't stop! Yet as a Christ follower, I must learn to surrender . . . to Him!    

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.            (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Say it with me . . . "I surrender!"Yes, surrendering to the will of God brings peace, contentment, and victory! As we continually seek Him, we continually move forward. However, we must keep moving in the path He has set for us and keep from veering off left and right! Yes, we may make a few wrong turns and detour a bit now and then, but keep the focus. . . we must stay focused! God will turn us back around and as as the old timers say,"place our feet back on solid ground"! Even if others do not agree . . .

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as                           working for the Lord, not for human masters. (Colossians 3:23)
