Never settle . . .

As believers, we all always grateful for what God supplies and how He supplies. Yet we never settle for mediocrity in our plans, our efforts, or our lives in general. We are always to strive for greatness, yet to glorify God and not ourselves! Like the salmon, we will find ourselves swimming upstream and against the social grain more times than not. We are not to blend in and be invisible, but stand out for Him.

I am once again reminded of some of most challenging verses in scripture:

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. . . (Romans 12:1-4)

Never settle for less that what God requires . . always seek to honor Him!
