Have you been CONVICTED?

No, I am not asking you if you have ever been convicted and declared guilty of a crime, but have you ever been convicted concerning your values, your decisions, your relationships or even your soul?

What keeps us from making certain life decisions? If it is our friends, society, or political correctness, we are in severe danger spiritually!

Remember Caleb in the bible? Despite the circumstances, he remained convicted by his faith, not the situation!

Then they told him, and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.” Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” (Numbers 13:27-30)

Despite the obvious challenges of those in the land, Caleb remained committed to the Word and commandment of God. Against the advice of the ten others, Caleb remained steadfast in his trust of God.

What do we do when faced with giants in our lives? Are we convicted to stand on His promises or the fears of this world?
