The peace of God . . . .

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4:6-9)

Sometimes we forget that God knows . . . yes, He knows all about our concerns, anxieties, successes, failures, plans and changed plans . . . and He still loves us and still has HIS plan for us! We memorized the various verses (Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 16:9, Psalm 37:23) that remind us that God has a plan, that he orders our steps, etc.  However, as sinful and forgetful humans, we still worry, get anxious, and try to do it all alone!

Today, simply think back to how faithful God has been, yes even through this pandemic. It is evident how much He is yet involved in our lives and others', though at times we believe He is far away! Remember, even a sparrow can't move a feather without God knowing and caring! (Matthew 10:29) They sure don't worry, do they?

So today, as we all ponder today, tomorrow, and beyond, let's refocus and rest in knowing Who is in control. Ah yes . . . the peace of God!

Even a child is known by his deeds, whether what he does is pure and right. The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord has made them both....
