“All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Whenever one begins a new job, new school, or even a new friendship, one wants to
be ready, prepared, or properly equipped. There is training and specific skills required for a job. Each level of school has prerequisites. Friendships grow and are developed through time and experience. Well, scripture . . . the Word of God . . . trains and equips us for every aspect of life, but more importantly for life eternal!
God speaks through the writers of scripture to every aspect of life. Whether we are two or twenty-two, we can lean upon His Word to learn of life and be prepared for all it offers. It comforts, corrects, teaches and satisfies.
