I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.(Philippians 4:2-7)
Familiar verses to most believers, but in today's world they may be the most relevant for us! In a society where everyone seems to believe they are right,
we know there is only One
right! In a world full of darkness, hatred, bitterness, injustice and mistrust, there is only One
trustworthy! His Light must shine in order for this darkness to diminish.
So
we, followers of Christ,
fellow workers,
true companions,
co-laborers,
we need to be such so the world will see His Light in and through
us!
We must be one, trusting one another as
we trust our Lord and Savior. This is no time for division, discord, discontent, or denial. . . . not in
His Church!
The Lord is at hand! Fellow workers and true companions, can we start acting like it please!?!?!?
