Be saved from this perverse generation.

And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.(Acts 2:40-47)

No doubt we are living in troubled times! Who is right and Who is wrong? What is right anymore? What cause do we support? Whom can we really trust? Who really loves me and Who is just using me? These are questions I hear not only from teens and young adults, but from grown folk!

Too many questions . . . for the believer . . . for anyone . . . well at least for me! I have only one simple answer: stay in the Word and trust Christ alone (Acts 2:42)

False teachings, twisting words,  manipulating minds, tweeking itching ears, posting inviting pictures, tweeting interesting phrases, stirring hearts, and exciting the masses . . . May we be as the Bereans and and test everything by Scripture to see if it is lining up with God's Word, if things are right to join. (Acts 17:11) Let's take Paul's advice and keeping thinking (and listening) on things that are pure, noble, right, lovely, admirable, and worthy of God! (Philippians 4:8)

There is a lot of good happening today in our society . . . needed change for sure! Let's just be sure that we, as believers, are honoring God above all we do so others may see Him, give Him praise, and even come to know Him as their Lord and Savior!!!!

To my young people . . .Enjoy life with restraint

Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth; walk in the ways of your heart and in the sigh...
