Go where the Spirit leads and success will follow!

So the eunuch answered Philip and said, “I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?”  Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?” Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”  So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing.(Acts 8:34-39)
Go where the Spirit leads and success will follow! Philip was being led by the Spirit after Stephens death to preach in various area. In Samaria, Simon the sorcerer was saved. He is now led south where he meets an Ethiopian who had been worshipping in Jerusalem and was heading back home. Reading Isaiah, he questioned Philip concerning the passages of Isaiah 53. Philip shared about Christ and the man was led to Christ and baptized!
From north to south, Philip was led around by the Spirit! In obedience, Philip went and folks accepted Christ. Success indeed! As we go where the Spirit leads, success will follow . . . maybe not right at that moment, but our labor is not in vain! (1 Corinthians 15:58) Stay true. Trust the process. Stay in tune with God the Holy Spirit and allow Him full control!
Send me! (Isaiah 6:8)
