Thank you very much, but God is calling!

But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.” So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge.  For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:17-20)

Many times we are on our own as Christ-followers. Like Peter and John, we may even find ourselves threatened to be quiet, to tone it down a bit, or even legally threatened. Serving God is never easy! Even within the Body, we can very often feel alone. These are some of those times.

Some will never understand. Others will offer good advice, albeit worldly advice. Some may say and have said, we are foolish. Yet most mean well, they just are not the ones called!

However, when God calls . . . when He convicts . . . when the burden is obvious . . . . despite the challenges . . .we gotta GO! Thank you very much, but God is calling!

 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8)
