Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm.(Psalm 37:1-8)Even in the center of the storm . . . in the eye of the hurricane . . . in the midst of the greatest challenge and most severe pain . . . God surrounds His children with love, protection, guidance, and peace!
"In the Beginning", the daily REMINDER from The Carroll Outreach Mission (formerly The Sparrows' Nest or TSN), is intended to jump start your day with the Lord. The Bible opens up with , "In the beginning, God..." It is our prayer that you will use this tool to begin or "restart" your day with the Lord! Only what we do for Him will last in the end!

Invisible Truth
Ever notice that as we grow in faith, the physical life grows in direct contrast to our spiritual life? Faith truly becomes the things we do not and cannot see! The more the world seems to focus upon the visible, the more the growing CHRISTian turns to faith . . .the INVISIBLE TRUTHS!
Not knowing exactly what God has in store, yet trusting Him with it, becomes surprising and exciting. God is ALWAYS good and has the best of plans for each of His children.
