And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.(2 Kings 6:17)Many times the gifts of God are right before us yet we will not open our eyes to see . . . to experience . . . to enjoy what He has supplied. God supplies so much to us yet we many times would rather go at life on our own using old broken tools when He has so many more effective weapons for us to use. Take the time to really experience God today. Look beyond the natural. Look inside the box if you would. Open the gift. Enjoy the experience!
"In the Beginning", the daily REMINDER from The Carroll Outreach Mission (formerly The Sparrows' Nest or TSN), is intended to jump start your day with the Lord. The Bible opens up with , "In the beginning, God..." It is our prayer that you will use this tool to begin or "restart" your day with the Lord! Only what we do for Him will last in the end!
