Here Comes the Groom!

The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. As it is written in the Prophets:“Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who will prepare Your way before You.” “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight.’” (Mark 1:1-3)

Lent . . . What a time to retreat spiritually and focus upon the coming off our Savior. Not the first coming as Mark was referring to as John the Baptist was calling out for his disciples to "prepare", but rather the Second Coming! As John was preparing the way for Christ to assume His role of ministry, so too are we to prepare and be ready for His Coming. Is it not true that Jesus could in fact be on the way? Are we prepared to meet Him, here on earth or in heaven? Are our family and friends? It's time to straighten our crooked paths and prepare our hearts not only to celebrate His resurrection and ours, but to be sure others know as well. WE are His messengers today!!!!
