Confident in the Midst of Chaos

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God , that you may be able to STAND against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the vil day, and having done all, to STAND. (Ephesians 6:10-13)
Many are fearful of what we face in the future; terror attacks, political confusion, natural disaster, deadly viruses and various other diseases. Yet there is nothing like the threats and battles we face in the spiritual realm! In fact, many of the physical challenges we do face, especially as CHRIST-followers, might just be directly linked to such demonic and evil sources. Satan would like nothing better to see God's people struggle with illness, financial battles, family strife, work-related challenges and the like. Anything to keep us from a closer relationship with our Lord is just fine with our enemy. We however, must recognize the source of our struggles and turn to God even the more! As we buckle up our chin strap with the knowledge of our salvation, tighten our belt of TRUTH, strap on our sandals and walk in His Word, hold our shield of faith up high, and wield our sword confidently, we shall STAND! We shall not be moved! We shall have victory!
