Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. (1Corinthians 13:4-8)
Many refer to these verses when dealing with relationships between people . . . husband and wife for instance. While these are excellent verses for a marriage and need to be practiced, may I suggest LOVE here to represent God Himself and the fact that He never fails us! Think about these words in that light for a moment or two and then thank Him!
I thank God for the LOVE He has shown me and allowed me to experience, especially through my bride!
