Make the Impossible Possible

Moreover, by them (the Lord's laws) Your servant is warned, and in keeping them there is great reward . . . Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my Strength and my  Redeemer. (Psalm 19: 11,14)

God is all powerful, all knowing, and ever present. Most of us can agree on these facts I believe. His ways are perfect. He never errors. He never fails. Though His Laws and His guidelines may seem difficult, they are in fact attainable and the rewards far outweigh the disappointments we receive when we do indeed fall short.  

Following God's direction far exceed the momentary joys we get from sin for sure! If we would only wait . . . hold on . . . God is there for us! Many times we simply convince ourselves that we cannot do it. We just can't make the right choice. It is too difficult. Yet God is able. He provides His Spirit within each and every believer to guide us and even live through us. He also provides so many other weapons and tools to use . . . Other believers, devotionals, the local church, the internet . . . 

Just as we seek out sin, we can seek out the things that are noble, just, trustworthy, and God-pleasing. It begins with prayer . . . simple heart-wrenching conversations with the Father. He stands ready and willing to equip us with every piece of armor we need for the day, even for the moment!
