As PROMISED . . .

The voice of one crying in the wilderness: "Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places made smooth; the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." (Isaiah 40:3-5)

Thanksgiving has come and gone as far as the calendar goes. We are being bombarded with with the secular CHRISTmas now. 24/7 songs, office parties, family gatherings, travel plans, cyber ads, super sales, deal after deal, one better than the next . . .  Where does JESUS fit in? After all, despite what many are saying, there is no season at all without having JESUS!

May I encourage us all to make plans for the coming of Jesus, yes, literally and also for the season of CHRISTmas! He is after all, our REASON for living and our REASON for hope!

He was promised . . . He came into the world as promised, and as promised, He is to return . . . SOON!

Isaiah 40:3-5 is saying that you need to fix messed up things to give God glory for instance it says "the crooked places shall be made straight", & "rough places made smooth", it also says all flesh shall see it together meaning that all the people of the world will see the messed up things being fixed all at once because the lord has spoken.
