Just tell me what to do!

 “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,  and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good? (Deuternomy 10:12-13)
 Just tell me what to do and I will do it! I believe this is what most teenagers what to hear today. Just give 'em some boundaries. We all need to know what is out of bounds, especially our children! Even the champions of this world have been known to "cheat". People are skirting the rules all around us. Are we living by the rule book . . . the BIBLE?
He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

In a world where wrong is right and right is wrong, are we surprised that our kids are confused?  It's challenging enough for a mature adult! Jesus Himself made it very simple when asked how one should live;
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”  Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:36-40)
A friend from New Orleans once told me this: "Love God with all you got and love people 'til you drop"! Advice for the CHRIST-follower to live by . . .
