And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:14-17)
The world simply is
NOT going to get any better. While we have to face this fact,
we do not have to be a part in the undoing! Despite the circumstnces, live as a
light in a dark world. Continue to honor the Lord. Do not give in to
popular opinion and/or
mob rule.
We are still to be a peculiar people!(1 Peter 2:9) We are here for such a time as this, as Queen Esther was (Esther 4:14). We must use our position to heal, enlighten, and bring together. . . . not to enrage, ignite, and separate.
When all hell breaks loose, will our reaction be heavenly? We are
NOT of this world beloved!!!!!!
