Submission leads to success . . .

In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.(1 Peter 5:5-11)
Submitting to the will of God is rarely an easy thing to do. There are so many opportunities that may seem good and seem right, yet in God's eyes they are not right for us. He alone kniows what is best and when it is best to have it. We have to stay close to Him and know His timing!
We cannot rush God!
Submission to His will and His ways will lead to success! When we do, we will look back and be able to say, "It was all God!" Despite those who may have doubted us or doubted our faith in God, our patience is worth it.
He mocks proud mockers but shows favor to the humble and oppressed. (Proverbs 3:34)
So hang in there. Test every spirit to see if it is of God. Be patient. Allow God to have His perfect way with us and then we will experience His peace, which does by the way go way beyond our human understanding!
His love still amazes!
