But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.(1 Peter 2:9)
We simply cannot call ourselves believers of the Lord Jesus Christ and accept anything as His will. We cannot live any way we please and not have the Holy Spirit convict us. We are indeed to be a peculiar people. We are to be outstanding among our peers . . . standing out! Everything is not of God . . . even good things!
Let's not continue to accept
anything as Gid's will. Let's purpose to be sure it is
of God and for
His glory. There is simply too much being done in the name of Christ that is not His will. Let's take our time. Let's try the spirits. Let's be sure it is His will and not that of our own or someone else.
