But Rehoboam didn’t accept the advice the elders gave him. Instead, he asked for advice from the young men who had grown up with him and were now serving him. (1 Kings 12:8)
Whether it's our own kids, kids we teach or mentor, or just youth in general, not all of them will listen. Many will take their own advice or the advice of peers and end up failing . . . worse. It is frustrating, painful, and breaks our hearts at times. Yet is it a fact.
Not everyone listens . . . but we never give up! God has plan!
