So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.(Ephesians 4:11-13)
Did you know that when we are saved that there is now work to do? The Holy Spirit equips every believer with at least one special gift in which to serve the Body of Christ. Some are gifted to teach, others to lead, still others to serve behind the scenes. However, everyone has a unique gift in which to serve and if we neglect that gift, abuse that gift, or deny that gift, thaen we all suffer!
It is important to discover one's spiritual gift . . . then it is imperative to use the gifts properly!
There are several on-line assessments for the individual to partake in. Once you know the areas you are gifted in begin to volunteer at the local church and allow God to use you! Be a part of the army of ONE!
