The heavens declare the glory of God;the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth.(Psalm 19:1-6)
Take the time today to observe what David saw. Hear what nature is saying! No words, yet wondeful praise coming from what the Creator has set before us. Nature screams out the glory of God each morning with every sunrise and every evening as the sun rest upon the horizon.
What more shall we say . . . we who are made in His image . . . to our Creator God? Will we allow our very souls to magnify the Lord as Mary once did?
My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.(Luke 1:46-47)
When is the last time we reflected the glory of God in our simple living? In our everyday 24/7 walking and breathing, how do we proclaim God's works? When is the last time we were caught screaming out His glory?
