You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and will bring you back from captivity.(Jeremiah 29:13-14)
The prophet shared with the Hebrew captives that when they return to God . . . with the hearts . . . God would rescue them and free them from captivity.
The same is true for us today. We say we love God, yet we serve sin and all it's camoflauged enjoyment. We cannot even keep the first commandment for believers:
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.(Mark 12:30)
If we love God, we keep His commandments, we love His ways, we seek to please Him! If we return to our fist love, which has to be Christ if we are CHRISTians, then He will rescue us from the slavery and bondage of sin!
So who do we love anyway??????
