In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you. (Isaiah 54:14)
Through the prophet Israel is promised to be restored here in Isaiah 54. Though a sinful people in rebellion to God, He still has mercy upon them and promises a future. He shares the vision of their future.
We all are / were at one time enemies with God. Yet God promises mercy and forgiveness.(Colossians 1:21-22) He establishes relationship with those who call upon Him to save them from sin. (John 1:12-13)
Once connected to the Father, there is no telling what God will do. He cherishes a relationship with His children and desires to dwell with them and do good for them.(John 15:9-17)
I want this for me and my children and grandchildren. I want this for all those (especially our youth)whom I see wandering aimlessly through life.
In a world of fear, hopelessness, and broken dreams, God promises a future. Do you have that promise? If you do, will you share the vision with someone today?
"In the Beginning", the daily REMINDER from The Carroll Outreach Mission (formerly The Sparrows' Nest or TSN), is intended to jump start your day with the Lord. The Bible opens up with , "In the beginning, God..." It is our prayer that you will use this tool to begin or "restart" your day with the Lord! Only what we do for Him will last in the end!
