The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? (1 Corinthians 6:13-15)
So what about our bodies? Unlike most popular opinions, this body does NOT belong to us. We did not make it and we really cannot control it well. In fact, God will eventually take it from us!
So why do we believe we can do what we want with it?
It has been lent to us and we will have to give an account of what we did with it before God one day! Today is a good day to repent of our past sins and ask God to make us whole again. It is also a good day to hold one another accountable to do so going forward!
