How does Jesus see us?

But a time is coming and is already here when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit [from the heart, the inner self] and in truth; for the Father seeks such people to be His worshipers. God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind], and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”  The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ—the Anointed); when that One comes, He will tell us everything [we need to know].” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you, am He (the Messiah).” (John 4: 23-26)

In John 4 we read of Jesus meeting a Samaritan woman in the middle of the day at the well. She had a past that she was ashamed of and trying to hide. She was not proud of herself or what the other ladies of the town thought about her. Yet Jesus knew all about her . . . even told her ( John 4:17-19) yet He still cared for her . . . her eternal soul.

Why do we care so much about what others think about us? Why do we worry so much what they will say or what they will do? It only matters what Jesus says about us! 

How does Jesus see us? He knew all about the woman and her lifestyle and choices, yet He offered her forgiveness and eternal life. He knows all about us too! May we all come to appreciate what Jesus offers us . . . just how much He loves each of us and walk in that reality daily!
