While we live by faith, we cannot wait around and do nothing! Faith and works go hand in hand and like Nehemiah, at times we have the bible (sword) in one hand and a literal sword in the other. (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Nehemiah%204%3A16-18&version=NKJV)
Many times we must begin working before we see the results we desire. We can actually work along with God!
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” (Mark 10:27)
I read a study, Experiencing God, (https://www.amazon.com/Experiencing-God-Knowing-Revised-Expanded/dp/0805447539) by Henry Blackaby long ago and will never forget the message: Join God at work!
God is always at work around us. All we need to join is join in the work. No need to reinvent the wheel or wait for it to be invented. Just join God in the work!
