New Beginnings . . .beginning today!

March 1, 2021 . . . .March, the third month of the year, was named for the Roman god of war, Mars. ... In the early Roman calendar, March (or Martius) was the first month of the calendar year. As March brought the first day of spring with the vernal equinox, it was the start of new beginnings.

‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” (Revelation 21:4-5)

Despite the pandemic, despite the economy, despite the politics, we who call ourselves followers of Christ always have hope!  Each day is a new beginning. In the verse above, Jesus said "I am making . . ." He is the process of renewing things daily . . . new mercies, new hopes, new dreams, new life. Each day we have here on earth is a new opportunity to do better than the day before!

Despite the gloom and doom of the world, we have assurance it will all be better one day. Look up and look forward to new beginnings today and into tomorrow!

Will you step into a new day in Christ  . . . beginning today?
