Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.(Isaiah 7:14)
700 years later . . .
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21)
They should have recognized then and we clearly should know it by now! Why is there such ignorance? Why is there so much doubt? Has Satan really got us to a point that even if we do believe, we don't live as if we do?
The prophets predicted it. Jesus fulfilled it. The disciples wrote about it in eyewitness accounts. We say we believe it. Why not live it out . . .especially now?
I read the Gospel of John by Elmer Towns of Liberty University while in seminary at Liberty. It made it clear to me that if I believe in Christ than I must live it out! It makes sense. What about you?Is it not prime time to allow people to see and witness the love, grace, forgiveness, mercy, and hope of Christ today?
. . .but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.(John 20:31)
